College Information
Here, students will find all the resources they need to find and apply to the college(s) of their
choice. Summer programs and community service opportunities are also available to give students
the sort of experience that many institutions look highly upon. Those interested in pursuing
athletics as a career or at the collegiate level should also check out our information on the
NCAA/NAIA Clearinghouse.
The Common Application
The Common Application is the recommended form of 230 selective colleges and universities for
admission to their undergraduate programs. Many of these institutions use the form exclusively.
All give equal consideration to the Common Application and the college’s own form. Students can
download the application at www.commonapp.org.

Letter of Recommendation Request
Please use this form when
requesting anyone on the CHS staff to write a letter of recommendation for you. If the letter is
to be mailed, include a completely addressed, stamped envelope.
